Refunds & returns

Refund & returns policy.

Our policy on cancellations, returns and refunds for timber products. Last updated: 16 October 2026.

1. Introduction

At Jeszara Farm & Timber Products Limited, we take pride in making and supplying quality timber products, including garden sheds, garden rooms, garden chalets, bike sheds, wheelie bin stores and other bespoke timber structures.

As many of our products are made to customer requirements, please check your order carefully before confirming your purchase.

2. Custom-made products

All custom-made, bespoke and personalised products are non-refundable for change-of-mind cancellations, subject to your statutory consumer rights.

Products made to a customer’s own specifications, measurements, designs or requirements are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, exchanges or refunds. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Custom-sized garden sheds
  • Bespoke garden rooms and garden chalets
  • Made-to-measure bike sheds and storage units
  • Custom timber buildings and structures
  • Products made to specific customer drawings, dimensions or requirements

Under Irish consumer law, genuinely custom-made and personalised products are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off right that applies to most online purchases.

This does not affect your statutory rights if a product is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet legal requirements.

3. Order cancellations

Full payment is taken when you place your order. If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible.

If materials have not yet been ordered and work on your order has not started, we will refund your payment in full. Once materials have been ordered or manufacturing has begun on a custom-made order, a change-of-mind cancellation may not be possible, or we may deduct reasonable costs already incurred, as permitted by law and the terms of your order.

Any refund will be assessed in line with your order terms and applicable consumer law.

4. Standard products and returns

For standard, non-customised products bought online or by telephone, you generally have a statutory 14-day cancellation period starting when you receive the goods.

Where this right applies, you must tell us within the cancellation period and return the goods within the statutory timeframe. You may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where this was clearly communicated before purchase and is permitted by law. For large items that cannot be returned by post, we will explain the collection arrangements and any costs as required by law.

We do not offer change-of-mind returns beyond your statutory rights unless agreed in writing.

5. Faulty or damaged products

If a product is faulty, damaged through our responsibility, not as described or does not meet statutory requirements, please contact us promptly with details of the issue. We may ask for photographs or arrange an inspection.

Depending on the circumstances and consumer law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 or other applicable legislation.

6. Measurements and specifications

You are responsible for checking and confirming any measurements, specifications, colours, door and window positions and other customisation details before manufacturing begins.

Where a product has been made correctly to your agreed specifications, we do not accept change-of-mind returns because you later want to change them. This does not affect your rights if we make an error or the goods do not match the agreed contract.

7. Changes to confirmed orders

Please send any requests to change a confirmed custom-made order as soon as possible. Once materials have been ordered, cut or assembled, changes may not be possible. Where we can make a change, extra charges may apply, and we will agree these with you before going ahead.

8. Delivery and installation

Please make sure suitable access and site preparation, including a solid, level base, are in place for delivery and installation as agreed when you order. Reasonable extra costs may apply if you request changes or the agreed access is not available.

If delivery or installation is delayed or cannot be completed for reasons we are responsible for, your statutory rights are not affected.

9. Natural timber characteristics

Timber is a natural material and may show variations in grain, knots, colour and texture. It may also expand or contract with changes in temperature and moisture. Normal natural characteristics are not manufacturing defects.

This does not exclude our liability for defective materials, poor workmanship or products that fail to meet applicable quality and durability standards.

11. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or override any rights you have under Irish or European consumer protection law.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have been given the applicable order terms, including the restrictions on change-of-mind cancellations for genuinely custom-made and personalised products. See also our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
